HINENI
HERE I AM
As a Missional Church, we desire that every believer in Bartley grows in a posture of surrenderedness, obedience, readiness, and availability before God. This posture is beautifully encapsulated in the Hebrew word HINENI (הִנֵּנִי) — “Here I am.” It is the heart-response of one fully present before God, ready to listen and obey.
The word Hineni appears 17 times across the Old Testament in Genesis, Exodus, Samuel, and Isaiah, at pivotal moments when God calls and His people respond.
